Before you go having crazy thoughts in your mind about how these cheese sticks taste from McDonald’s, according to many on social media, they’re THE BOMBBBBBB!
After an experiment went well in New York, Micky D’s made the announcement to start selling mozzarella sticks in 2016. According to an article from Buzzfeed, they’ll cost about $1 for three.
Apparently this is just one example of how McDonald’s is drawing some new ideas for national menu items from some of their regional franchisees:
“While we know the vast majority of our growth will come from national initiatives, regional empowerment has given our local markets the power to plus up the national plan, drive incremental sales and profit, and provide a pipeline of new ideas for the system,” said Mike Andres, the president of McDonald’s USA, during Tuesday’s investor meeting.
