93.9 The Beat, FOX 59 and the Indiana State Fair want you to become the LAST American Idol.
So, we are holding auditions for one day only on Friday, Aug. 21 at the Indiana State Fair to find that special person.
Once we find him or her, we’re going to fly the lucky person to San Francisco to audition for an American Idol producer and meet the American Idol judges! That’s right – one lucky contestant will win a trip to San Francisco AND get a silver ticket to the front of the line at the auditions on Tuesday, Sept. 15!

Please read below for important information about auditions, eligibility, and contest rules.
Audition Information:
• Auditions are on Friday, August 21st at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
• You must be aged 15 – 28 (which means you must be born on or between June 2, 1986, and June 1, 2000) and a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal U.S. resident who is eligible to work full-time in the United States, per American Idol rules.
• Gates open at 8am. Please do not line up earlier than 7am. Security will ask you to leave if you line up before then.
• Auditions will be held at the Indiana Farm Bureau insurance building. We will start auditions at 9am and continue auditioning singers until 5pm or the first 400 people audition, whichever comes first.
• You’ll have :30 seconds to audition a cappella. You will be cut off after :30 seconds. No exceptions.
• We are unable to provide any instruments or play back any tracks for you to sing along with. You are allowed to audition with your own instrument that you bring with you and are responsible for.
• Auditions are capped to the first 400 people to register.
• There will be a few 10 minutes breaks throughout the day and a 30 minute lunch break to allow our judges a chance to stretch, use the bathroom, etc.
• Each person auditioning will receive free admission to the State Fair that day. Enter the fairgrounds at Gate 12 along 42nd Street to register for auditions and get in free. Your entourage (family, friends, etc.) will have to enter through the main gates AND PAY to get in. Once you audition, you are free to stick around and enjoy all the rides, food and exhibits at the State Fair that day. Only YOUR ADMISSION is free. You will have to pay for any food items, rides, etc.
• Our three judges will score each singer and those scores will be used to determine the winner. The judges will not offer any feedback to you.
• The winner will be announced live that night during FOX59 News at Seven. You do not have to be present at that time to win. Though, we would like it if you were there.
• The winner will be flown to American Idol Auditions in San Francisco, CA, on September 15, 2015, and audition in front of an American Idol producer. They will also meet the show judges, but are not guaranteed to audition for the show’s judges.
